How to control your emotions and make them positive.

It's very important to control your emotions in your life.

Managing Emotions for a More Positive Life

Emotions control us, so let's learn to direct them. Positive emotions are one of the main life engines. Here are three tasks to create a more positive emotional background in your life.

Task One: Start the Day with a Positive Impulse

Every day for 15-20 minutes after waking up, create a positive impulse to color the whole day. Some ways to do this include using motivators, smiling, remembering positive memories, saying a prayer, drinking coffee, or any action that brings the emotion you need. Change your actions periodically to keep the emotional intensity high. This will prevent the action from becoming habitual and losing its effectiveness.

Task Two: Create a Stronger Positive Impulse Every Day

Every day, find stronger emotions to color your life. Don't make excuses about not having enough time. Spend at least 20 minutes a day dedicated to yourself to find new ways to feel positive emotions. You can watch a movie, listen to music, go to a concert, or take a nature hike. Learn to feel emotions while having fun and notice how much satisfaction they bring.

Task Three: Strengthen the Emotional Background

Consciously evoke an emotional uplift in yourself. After receiving the morning "kick of happiness," consciously force yourself to smile continuously at your thoughts and seek joy in everything that surrounds you. Feel emotions physically to the maximum. Each strong emotion causes physical sensations. Try to evoke those sensations in yourself, especially during difficult moments.

The Nature of Positive Emotions

The greatest pleasure a person gets is when their positive expectations are met. To create a more positive emotional background, you must seek out and find positive experiences.

Learn not to worry about the little things, remembering that you are strong and continue this path to the victorious end. Do not wind up, drive all the anger away from yourself, all this small dairy negative is worthless. This can be easily confirmed. How many small conflicts (that don't really influenced your life) can you remember occurred in the same month last year. If you remember at least one – well, 3-4 at most. So the price of these emotions is a penny! So think about whether it's worth wasting your mind and emotions on something that you won't even remember. In the future, extinguishing anger in yourself, what could previously drive you into depression will be just a small stone under your feet on your life path.
